Trekking
Trekking in Nepal provides an opportunity to gaze upon the highest mountains in the world and experience the unique culture of the Nepali people. Actually the country provides an infinite variety of experiences according your level of experience and ambition, so we can offer different kinds of adventures, from short and relatively easy to longer and more strenuous. Some places have now well developed mountain lodge systems and visiting these areas requires a big logistic: we provide porters, guides, permits, transports, flight and accommodations in lodges. On some other itineraries in more remote areas we will have to bring kitchen and camping equipments. Your travel at a modest pace, observing nature, rural communities, and spectacular mountain panoramas. Our job is to ensure your comfort and safety as we take you where you want to go, at your own pace. We show you what you have come to see, and help you discover things you had no idea were there! We walk 5-7 hours and 9-14 km a day.
Types of Trekking available in Nepal
We provide trekking tour with varying lengths. You can change the length of your trip as you wish. We make sure that your trek will be a memorable experience. We provide two kinds of treks in Nepal. Teahouse Trekking (Lodges) and Camping Trekking.
Teahouse (Lodge) Trekking ; – Teahouse trekking or Lodging trekking mean, you will get all accommodation in guest houses/ lodges. Therefore, you could enjoy this trek on the more popular routes where accommodation facilities are available. The sleeping and meal facilities provided will be basic. You will be accompanied by strong porters and experienced trekking guides. The guides will help you fulfill your travel dreams to enjoy the trek by taking care of you and your lodging fooding.
Camping Trekking : – Camping can be done in nearly all the trekking regions and routes in Nepal. As the name suggests, you will be camping during the trek, sleeping in tents. All essential camping materials and equipment will be provided by our company, such as tents, Kitchen tents, toilet tents, and all necessary kitchen materials / utensils. There will be a trekking guide; assistant guide (Sherpa), trekking cook, kitchen helper and porters. The cook will provide delicious and different meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Vegetarian meals can also be provided as long as we are informed while you are booking a trip.
SEASON:
- Autumn: weather is clear and dry with mild to warm days and cold nights. In the higher altitude the nights drop into freezing temperatures.
- Winter: beginning December until mid March. At that moment is the coldest time, day time temperatures will be cooler and nights very cold (below 0 degree), days are generally clear but occasional winter storms can bring snow as low as 2500m. At this season trekking in high altitude is more challenging but on the very popular trails (Everest or Annapurnas) yo will enjoy a tranquil atmosphere.
- Spring: from mid March until mid May: morning is clear but afternoon clouds build up and which leads to occasional showers. Day is a mix up with warm and rain which displays wildflowers like rhododendrons, it is also the time for rice planting.
- Summer (monsoon): trekking is difficult at this time and uncomfortable as the weather is hot and it rains almost every day. The trails become muddy and mountains are obscured by clouds. At this time it is however possible to trek in the Upper Mustang region because of its geographical situation this region is less subject to precipitations than the more southern areas.
